Caring for our community and environment is at the heart of what we do at Merimbula Metal Roofing. Completing the re-roof of the heritage-listed Tathra Wharf is a project we’re especially proud of ensuring this special place will remain part of the Sapphire Coast landscape for generations to come.
This heritage listed landmark was built in the 1860’s and is a popular tourist attraction not only for travellers and locals but the beautiful whales that pass by every year on their journey to and from Antarctica.
An important part of the Sapphire Coast community, it’s the perfect spot to grab a coffee at the café and gallery, visit the museum, cast a fishing line or simply soak up the breath-taking views.
Given its exposed coastal location, durability was a top priority for this project. We chose Colorbond® Ultra Steel for its proven strength and weather resistance, designed to withstand harsh ocean conditions. The chosen colour, Windspray, perfectly complements the surrounding landscape and ocean hues.
Projects like this reflect our commitment to quality craftsmanship, sustainability, and preserving the character of our beautiful region. We’re proud to play a role in protecting a piece of local history so it can continue to be enjoyed by future generations.
